With Lake Tahoe's epic snowfall this 2018/19 winter season, it’s no wonder most of our weekend lodging is sold out.

If you hadn’t heard – we’ve been buried by snow this February! 109 inches alone fell in about a week’s time, bringing Tahoe-Truckee's season total to over 500 inches. In fact, six of the top ten ski resorts with the deepest year-to-date snowfall totals are located in the Tahoe region!

Say you've been itching for powder, but weekend lodging is slim pickings – we’ve got the answer: a midweek stay! Midweek getaways are the best way to go, and here’s why:

Best Winter Discounts

Save up to 15% off your midweek stay! You won’t find discounts or specials like that on the weekend. If you can jet away for a couple days, do it and save! Search our vacation rental homes and condos eligible for midweek discounts and use use promo code 15MWS at checkout.

Less is More

Less traffic, less time wasted waiting in lines at local grocery stores and coffee shops, less time waiting in lift lines on the mountain – less is more! The middle of the week generally draws fewer crowds, which means more time for you to enjoy the powder, and various sights around Tahoe-Truckee! For up to date information on local events check out the Tahoe Vacation Rentals events page.

We'll let Mother Nature do the enticing if you're still on the fence about Tahoe's head high powder (see below!). Remember to book direct when you're ready to escape the hustle and bustle for an awesome midweek stay!
