Since you are set back in a quiet community near Alpine Meadows ski area we suggest you pull out some cards or games to entertain the little ones. On March 11th Placer County implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance. They will be strictly enforcing these policies and can issue fines ranging from $1,500 - $5,000 to guests for each violation.

A FEW OF THE MAIN POINTS:
1. QUIET HOURS: (9PM – 8AM) No sound from a short-term rental should be audible from the parcel line and amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside at any time.
2. FIRE: Due to extreme wildfire danger all outdoor wood or charcoal burning is prohibited, including open wood burn pits, bonfires, campfires, and charcoal grills. Do not bring personnel grills or portable fireplaces. When a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning is in effect for the geographical area where the short-term rental is located, all sources of outdoor open flame (including gas/propane/pellet BBQs) are prohibited.
3. TRASH: Please keep our bears safe by properly storing and disposing of trash. Do not leave food unattended in your cars our outside for any reason. Trash should be disposed of in bear-proof trash receptacles. (Bear bins and dumpsters)
Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. There are no assigned parking spots and parking could be limited in the winter months. There is no garage parking.
