Lake Tahoe Winter Lessons and Guides
Every Lake Tahoe resort offers ski and snowboard lessons for all ages and all levels. Taking a lesson with a certified professional is a great way to get started for the first time on skis or a snowboard, or to refresh your muscle memory after a few years away from the slopes.
For the expert skier or rider who is looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, many local mountains offer guided tours, both in and out of bounds, for the adventurous Tahoe visitor.

Snowcat Adventures at Homewood

New last year is the Snowcat Adventures program. These tours take skiers up on Ellis peak, with views of the lake and Desolation Wilderness, and full-day guided tour of some of the best terrain the West Shore has to offer.
