Celebrate the holidays in style! Ski down the slopes after dark with Santa at the Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade at Granlibakken. For almost a century, Granlibakken has been around, making the location full of history and rich in tradition.

The parade began in 1932 when the location hosted the Olympic Ski Jumping trials. Skiers can celebrate by following a similar route as the athletes down the Granlibakken Ski Hill, holding their own torch on Christmas Eve. Torches will be provided for all skiers participating in the parade. The event takes place from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Once back from the slopes, the festivities continue. Enjoy hot chocolate, mulled cider, s’mores, gifts and photos with the big man himself, Santa. Don’t miss out on this Tahoe holiday tradition. As a bonus, this festive fun is free and open to the public. Have yourself a Granlibakken Christmas and check out more information on this event here.
