Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area (Tahoe XC)
Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area features a 65km trail system with 21 separate trails groomed daily! Families enjoy the 8kms of dog-friendly trails, 3 trailside warming huts and full-service rental shop and cafe. Swap your new and used winter gear at their 2020 Ski Swap on November 14& 15! Bring your appetite as there will be plenty of food trucks serving breakfast and slinging lunch all weekend. Make sure to register for this fundraising event benefitting youth programs as no drop-ins allowed.
The Nordic Center at the Resort at Squaw Creek
Glide through Squaw Valley meadows and the surrounding hillside on 18kms of track, including 11 trails at The Nordic Centre at the Resort at Squaw Creek! Most of their trails are aimed at beginners, and you can easily pick up cross country ski and snowshoe rentals while you’re there! All trails start at the Resort at Squaw Creek which is easily accessed via a shuttle from the parking lot.
North Tahoe Regional Park Nordic Ski Area
Head to Tahoe Vista for 124 acres of Nordic skiing on snow-covered forest trails! Walk or glide through peaceful wilderness and marvel at cedar trees along the Cedar Trail. Bring your own equipment as there’s no cross-country ski or snowshoe rentals in the North Tahoe Regional Park.
