As the snow melts and the promise of summer returns, we’re busting out our flip flops and chilled white wines for a return to Tahoe-Truckee’s warm season! After many (welcomed) months of being bury by powder, it’s high time for wine tasting around Truckee, and the 43rd Soroptimist Wine and Restaurant Faire on June 3 from 5-7:30PM is the perfect way to usher in summer!

Join others at the Coyote Moon Golf Course in Truckee for an evening of wine and beer tasting, live music by Tahoe Music, and culinary bites prepared by many of Tahoe-Truckee’s notable restaurants and chefs. The event also features a silent auction, and raffle with three major prizes: $1000 Mountain Home Center gift certificate, $869 Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows Unlimited Ski Pass, and $500 Total Wine and More Wine Tasting for 20.

It’s not just an evening to indulge in local wines and food with family and friends — your attendance supports a local nonprofit, Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner, which is committed to improving the lives of women and girls through gender equality, empowerment, education and diversity. It’s a win-win all around!

Advance tickets are $50, and $55 at the door. Purchase them at Dickson Realty in Truckee, the Truckee Chamber of Commerce, Truckee Physical Therapy, or online here: sitd.info
