Fall Fun for the Whole Family at Harvest Festival

Tahoe Fall is in full swing, and nothing spells October like a classic harvest festival in the mountains. There’s still time to bundle up with the kiddos, and select your pumpkin at the patch for Halloween. The annual Harvest Festival fun returns to the Resort at Squaw Creek, spanning two weekends: October 13 to 15, and October 20 to 22.

Harvest Festival 2017 Weekend Events

The festivities kick off on Friday, October 13 with fall specials at Sandy Pub — everything from autumn inspired beers and brats specials, cider menu, evening s’mores and a caramel apple dipping station.

Start your Saturday with building a scarecrow from 9AM-11AM followed by face painting, the ring toss on witches’ hats, a pumpkin decorating contest, and family foot golf (golfing with a soccer ball: $25/adult and $15/child). For avid anglers don’t miss the fishing derby — catch a trout in the Squaw Creek pond and Sandy’s Pub will cook your catch for $25!

Stick around for the Oktoberfest dinner on Saturday (October 14th and 21st) from 5:30PM-9PM, a harvest feast featuring a whole roasted pig and live music. Be sure to stop by the harvest photo booth to commemorate your quintessential alpine autumn weekend.
