Description

This new house is a four-bedroom Tahoe City house that is the perfect place to experience everything Lake Tahoe has to offer! In the winter you'll find yourself about a 10 - 15 minutes drive to several ski resorts and the Tahoe City Cross County Center. In the summer, enjoy a quick walk down to the private neighborhood beach.

Located a bit down the West Shore, less than a mile from Tahoe City, the house is close to a several great spots that can help make your trip more enjoyable. You’ll find easy access to dining, shopping, parks and beaches. And you are located just a short distance to some of the best hikes Tahoe has. The house is a short stroll to the Tahoe House Bakery, a Tahoe favorite bakery and coffee shop that also serves lunch, and has a some To Go items for dinner, including what many think is the world’s greatest Chicken Pot Pie. Not to be missed!

The second floor of the house is the main floor. This area is great for family and friend get-togethers with open space and gathering zones in the living room. One side is perfect for watching movies or your favorite sporting event with a 65-inch flat screen TV. The other zone has a great place to sit and chat with friends or family. Outside the living room is a summer deck, with a gas firepit, outdoor seating and a propane BBQ.

The dining area can accommodate up to ten guests and is open to the kitchen, where you will find a breakfast bar that can seat six. The kitchen is spacious, fully equipped (including a double oven) and is perfect for making any type of meal.

The lower level, where you enter the house hosts all four bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a King Bed and its own bathroom. The three other bedrooms are a King, a Queen and one with two Queens that is more like a den with a sofa and extra living space. There is also a half bat with shower near the garage for a quick rinse after a day outside. The washing machine and dryer are just inside the garage and accessible from this lower level.

Whether you are looking for a place for family or a group of friends, this property is perfect for pretty much any type of getaway. Its central location makes it so you don't always have to drive to access dining and shopping. It is minutes from many Lake Tahoe great spots including Sunnyside Restaurant, The High Sierra Water Ski School, and the Tahoe City bike path which runs for miles down the West Shore, all the way to Palisades Tahoe Olympic Valley and to Dollar Hill where it connects to a trail system. Restaurant options, and shopping are all less than a mile away in Tahoe City.

PROPERTY SPECIFICS
* Central heat with a thermostat on each level.
* There is no air conditioning
* This is a quiet neighborhood with full time residents. Please respect the neighbors by keeping noise levels to a minimum when enjoying the deck.
* The private beach is only for the occupants of the home. They do monitor the beach and extra visitors will be noticed and asked to leave.
* The beach key is in the home and will cost $250 to replace if lost.
* Fan and space heater in each bedroom closet
* Guests may need to supply their own propane for the outdoor gas fireplace.
*We provide a starting supply of toilet paper, paper towel, laundry detergent, dish We do not provide shampoo / conditioner / or body wash.
*We recommend 4 x 4 or AWD in the winter
*There is no air conditioning

IMPORTANT INFORMATION


On March 11th Placer County implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance. They will be strictly enforcing these policies and can issue fines ranging from $1,500 - $5,000 to guests for each violation. A FEW OF THE MAIN POINTS:


1. QUIET HOURS: (9PM – 8AM) No sound from a short-term rental should be audible from the parcel line and amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside at any time.

2. FIRE: Due to extreme wildfire danger all outdoor wood or charcoal burning is prohibited, including open wood burn pits, bonfires, campfires, and charcoal grills. Do not bring personnel grills or portable fireplaces. When a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning is in effect for the geographical area where the short-term rental is located, all sources of outdoor open flame (including gas/propane/pellet BBQs) are prohibited.

3. TRASH: Please keep our bears safe by properly storing and disposing of trash. Do not leave food unattended in your cars our outside for any reason. Trash should be disposed of in bear-proof trash receptacles. (Bear bins and dumpsters)


Parking is limited to 4 vehicles: 1 Car can park in the garage and 3 cars fit in the driveway.
