Description

This modern updated three-bedroom, two bath home sits in a great location for winter and summer stays. Located in Alpine Meadows and about 5 miles from Palisades Tahoe in Olympic Valley, you’ll have easy access to both ski resorts. In the summer you’ll find plenty of biking and hiking trails nearby. (only 1 mile from the Five Lakes Trailhead). This Alpine Meadows house covers all the important bases for every season!

Great care was taken for the house updates and it shows in home’s appearance. As you enter the multi-level house, you get access to two of the bedrooms, a full bathroom, and the laundry room washer & dryer. Up to the next levels you find the home gathering zones. A fully updated gorgeous kitchen with everything you need while you are traveling including a coffer maker and blender for morning breakfast shakes or après delights, or both!

The dining table seats six next to a big window and deck. The kitchen breakfast bar seats four. High wooden ceilings, lots of windows and decks add to the open space and terrific ambiance of this home.

A few steps down from the kitchen and dining area is the gathering zone living area with a two TVs (Roku streaming), woodstove, two couches and two comfy poufs for movie watching or just a great session of hanging out. There is also another deck space for outdoor gatherings and lots of natural light. You’ll also find an Peloton bike if you didn’t get outside enough on one of your vacation days!

The bedrooms can be found on the lower level and mid-level. All bedrooms have TVs. At the home entrance you find bedroom one with a queen bed, twin bunk beds and a twin bed. Down a few stairs is bedroom two with two sets of wooden bunk beds, a queen bed, TV, and an adjacent bathroom. Up to the mid-level is bedroom number three and the second bathroom. Bedroom three has a full bed, dresser, and TV.

With easy access to Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe winter resorts you can ski, snowboard, or snow tube. Tahoe XC is not far away if you want to cross country ski or snowshoe too. In the summer, you are just a short distance from Lake Tahoe. There are hiking trails throughout the area. Horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking trails provide plenty of Lake Tahoe things to do.

*We provide a starting supply of toilet paper, paper towel, laundry detergent, and dish soap. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Please plan on bringing or purchasing extra supplies for extended stays.
*We recommend 4 x 4 or AWD in the winter. Even if it has not snowed recently, the roads could still be Icey, slick or covered in snow. The driveway is slightly uphill and could be difficult in the winter with low clearance or summer tires.
*There is no air conditioning in the condo.
*Parking is outside in the driveway. In the summer, the driveway fits 3 cars but it can be tight in the winter. Depending on snow amounts, it may fit two cars max in the winter months. One will be parked behind the other and on an incline.

Important Information


On March 11th Placer County implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance. They will be strictly enforcing these policies and can issue fines ranging from $1,500 - $5,000 to guests for each violation. A Few of the Main Points:


1. QUIET HOURS: (9PM – 8AM) No sound from a short-term rental should be audible from the parcel line and amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside at any time.

2. FIRE: Due to extreme wildfire danger all outdoor wood or charcoal burning is prohibited, including open wood burn pits, bonfires, campfires, and charcoal grills. Do not bring personnel grills or portable fireplaces. When a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning is in effect for the geographical area where the short-term rental is located, all sources of outdoor open flame (including gas/propane/pellet BBQs) are prohibited.

3. TRASH: Please keep our bears safe by properly storing and disposing of trash. Do not leave food unattended in your cars our outside for any reason. Trash should be disposed of in bear-proof trash receptacles. (Bear bins and dumpsters)


Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. Parking is available in the driveway for two stacked cars. The transition from the street to the driveway is considered steep. Low clearance cars are not advised. There is no street parking in the winter.
