Tickets are on sale now for the 5th Annual Tahoe Film Festival! The event kicks off December 5 and runs through December 8. Opening Night kicks off with Marriage Story, a layered bittersweet snapshot of a marriage in its final stages. The all-star cast includes Adam Driver, Scarlett Johansson and Laura Dern.

The Tahoe Film Fest is known for championing environmentally conscious documentaries, American independent films starring Hollywood icons and purposely selecting films that open viewers’ eyes to different cultures and solutions to environmental problems. Loyal to preserving Lake Tahoe’s beauty and its surroundings, proceeds from the Festival benefit the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Centre (TERC).

Themes this year include environmental documentaries about wild fish and plastic pollution, Native American Heritage, violence and lawlessness in Mexico amongst childhood friends, the turning point in the Catholic Church with Pope Benedict, Pearl Harbor, and more. There will also be music documentaries and the addition of new films from Latin America and a filmmaker tribute.

Jump online now to reserve individual tickets for just $12 each or grab an All Access Pass for $75 to get unlimited films and exclusive access to four VIP after parties hosted at the Crystal Bay Club Casino. Make it a weekend and go ice skating with the family at Northstar or bowling in Incline Village.
