Epic leaf peeping awaits on The Cascade Falls Trail! Take in gorgeous views of Cascade Lake, Emerald Bay and Lake Tahoe surrounded by trees bathed in warm Autumn hues. Adventure through forest and stone steps dipping your feet in pools along the way! There's even a stream perfect for sitting nearby and listening to nature. Bring your hiking boots as you'll be scrambling over granite outcroppings on this 1.5 mile moderate trail located within the Emerald Lake State Park.

Swim in a sea of orange aspen groves as you walk from Spooner Lake to Marlette Lake. This 5 mile hike along Tahoe's East Shore is leaf peeping gold with two gorgeous lakes in one hike. Vibrant trees contrast beautifully against the blue Tahoe sky. Flat hiking trails and wide open meadows ring Spooner Lake making it one of Tahoe's most popular Fall Foliage spots. Picnic at the lake and then hike a short distance to the Tahoe Rim Trail in search of a picturesque viewpoint called "the bench" situated high above Lake Tahoe between Spooner Summit and Kingsbury Grade.

Explore the magical sights and sounds of wide open Page Meadows. The Tahoe Rim Trail and Page Meadows Loop is a moderate 5 mile hike decorated by a rainbow of pine, fir, and aspen groves. Stunning views with few hills make it perfect for families and for capturing morning light as it dances across the landscape. You can even see different peaks just above the trees! Easily find Page Meadows after turning on Pine Street near Sunnyside restaurant and navigating your way to Silvertip Drive.
